In paper cup manufacturing, these three forms of raw materials work together:
Cup body roll: The cup body raw material used in large-scale fully automated production lines, from printing to forming, is fully automated.
Flat paper: mainly used for cup body, it is the pre processed form of cup body roll, used for small and medium-sized or high flexibility factories.
Bottom roll: almost exclusively used for making cup bottoms. Both large fully automatic lines and small flat paper forming machines require the use of bottom rolls to punch out the cup bottom. Because the bottom of the cup is circular and does not require complex printing, continuous production with rolls is the most efficient.
A typical production process for "flat paper" paper cups is:
